The packaged version is actually such a pre-1.9.10 version. It's a git
snapshot taken on 2013-03-06 at commit 47f3a68c.
The commit confirms that it has the relevant patch that fixes the bus
error on ARM.
It does not contain the compilation fix for aarch64, but since your
current armhf isn't aarch64, you don't need it.
So in a word, the packaged version should do the trick.
