Thanks Stephane,
I've not run yet benchmarks on libsamplerate but it sounds like a good 
library in terms of quality.
If I wish to look at the control code and see what needs to be fixed and 
try fix it, do you have ideas what is wrong or who knows what needs to 
be rewritten?
