That's the default Debian policy.

When the freeze is over, he should react to the bug report. It's
completely up to him: provide what we need or live with an embedded
copy. I'd prefer the first. ;)

This would be RAVENNA then. Layer-3 streaming with RTP, stream
reservation with DiffServ and a PTP-synchronised media clock.

Note that there is IEEE 1733, too, that is, AVB-over-RTP.
