Thanks Ralf. Nothing else is connected, just mouse, keyboard, and PCI audio
card. There are no audio drop outs, so it seems like it's well under
capacity. The only thing going wrong is the missing messages. I tried
moving the buffer size around too and it doesn't seem to change anything.
